CCE covers the entire supply chain in the production and processing of corrugated and carton material. The show addresses technology buyers and users from the corrugated and cartonboard industry and their target markets, such as carton and boxes manufacturers, tubes and cores suppliers, packaging designers, plant managers, technical engineers and company leaders.
Among the exhibitors will be two represented by Neil Southerington’s Graffica business here in ANZ; Kolbus Autobox and Century die-cutting. Automatic Double Head Binding Machine
On show from Kolbus will be the Autobox AB310, with a newly integrated nozzle gluing system to support the operator in the necessary folding and gluing of the packaging in just one pass. The machine also features inline glue application for the folding area, allowing one operator to run the machine and fold and glue the cartons in one pass. This eliminates the need to take the box blanks to a separate gluing process.
AutoBox AB310 is equipped as standard for processing single and double flute with cross and longitudinal cutting unit. This is particularly suitable for the production of boxes (OPFs, wraps) used as transport protection for large-format printed matter. The machine will be presented at the CCE with the production of various Fefco types and sizes.
AutoBox now offers single-colour inline digital printing on both the Boxer and the AutoBox AB. The company says this makes it easy to print notices, simple logos and signets directly onto corrugated sheets.
