Paving slab thrown at Carlisle home window as victim slept under it - LancsLive

Police have launched an appeal after a paving slab was thrown at the window of a home in Carlisle while the victim slept under it.

The incident took place at a property on Osbourne Avenue at around 4.30am on Monday, April 10. Cumbria Police are investigating criminal damage with the intent to danger life.

Officers say that a paving slab was thrown at a living room window which the victim was sleeping under, causing damage to the property. They are appealing to the public for information.

A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: "Police are appealing for information from the public following an incident which occurred on 10th April at approximately 4:30am on Osbourne Avenue, Carlisle.

"Officers are investigating criminal damage with the intent to danger life, after paving slab was thrown at a living room window which the victim was sleeping under, causing damage to the property."
